A Notch Above named their business right in my experience based on their profesisonal knowledge, customer care and ability to deliver. According to Albert Nunnery (owner), customer satisfaction is primary and Mr. Nunnery and his crew delivered quality service on my job, giving every attention to detail in estimating the job, work completed ahead of schedule and exceeded my expectations in care and professionalism. The estimate I had was very competitive, and based on the quality of work performed, proved extremely high value. Overall positive points: Gave attention to detail. Listened to customer & excellent communication from the initial estimate, additional work contracted, explained each step of the job and performed a thorough walk through inspection at job completion. Anticipated and exceeded expectations. Fast yet careful of customer's property (trimming around house and off roof and moving heavy equipment through gated area and around property). Company-owned heavy equipment and respectful crew. To me this proved important to overall quality. Owner directed entire job on site and was an active participant in every aspect of job. Cleaned work area leaving property better than they found it. A Notch Above went the extra mile in anticipating my concerns and expectations. Overall negative points: None – I would use A Notch Above for all future tree removal and have recommended them to several friends who have need of tree removal.

Albert Nunnery came over toward the end of April gave me a price to remove two river birches grind stumps remove 6 Indian hawthorns, and remove roots that almost taken over my front yard. His employees were prompt and very quick. One day to remove all trees and bushes, and a couple hrs on the second day to remove stumps and also cut roots out of the front yard. They cleaned up very well and would not leave until I was happy with the job that was done. The owner Albert walked the property with me to ensure everything was to my approval.I would highly recommend his company for any tree removal needs.

From the very beginning it went extremely well. Mr. Nunnery responded to my phone message the same day, looked over my property the next day and gave me an estimate. We settled on a date that was agreeable to both of us, he called the night before and he and his crew arrived on time and started work. Mr. Nunnery was present the whole time and he and his crew worked tirelessly that day and half the next day until the contract was completed.

I had them thin out the canopy of three large trees in my front yard. They did an exellent job. I can see sky again. Hope to grow more grass this spring with the additional sunshine.

They quickly were able to come to our house to discuss the plan after I called them. They made recommendations and suggested a course of action that would be in the best interest for the trees and for us. Before the limbs were cut, one could barley see the house. Also when it rained the limbs would droop into the house and driveway. Now the yard is open and bright and looks really sharp. We are very impressed that they did this job in a couple of hours and that it could change the feel and look of the house. The one added bonus is that they were able to move our child's rope swing to a higher stronger branch. Overall I can't wait for friends and family to see the new and improved yard. I will definitely use their service again in the near future!

He came to my house on a Saturday, and we set a start date one week from that date. He showed on 7-19 as agreed. On the day before he came we had a bad storm and lighting hit a tree in our yard. I contacted him to take the tree that was hit by lighting down and he told me that was no problem. They came the next day on Friday took care of the work and also cleaned up all the limbs and left the yard just as it was. They came back Saturday took down very large pine tree hit by lightning and ground down 3 stumps. Also cut down limbs across my driveway. I was very impressed with the clean up and the quality of the work. Then Albert the owner came to talk with me and we did a walk thru to ensure everything I wanted done was to my approval. I would highly recommend him for any tree service needed

We used A Notch Above Tree and Lawn Care for tree cutting service. We have had them come out twice. The last time that we used them, we had some tall pines to be cut down. Comments: We had a good experience with them. Their prices were reasonable; they did good work, and cleaned up too. Their price depends on the size of the tree. They were respectful of the property and were good to deal with but sometimes they did not quite respond when they said they would. They are going to be coming again in a month. I would recommend them to others.

Mr. Nunnery was honest and up front with his pricing and with what needed to be done. My situation was a difficult one becuase of established flower beds and trees which limited the space he had to lay down the tree trunk. The majority of the trees had to be climbed and taken down by hand. Expectations were set that there would be a few broke limbs on surrounding trees and shrubs but no major damage done to them or the yard. He and his crew did better than he said they would and exceeded my expectations. My yard was raken, blown and left clean of debris. 
He and his crew are friendly, courteous, professional and hard working. 
A Notch Above will be the 1st people I call the next time and will recommend them to anyone I know that needs a tree service.

This is the 2nd time I had Albert and crew over to cut trees and grind stumps. They always do such a great job! You can't even tell a tree was there. Now you have to give him time to get to you - but once he does the whole team gets the job done in no time. We even went out of town the day they came in but I had complete confidence in the guys. It took them just a couple of days to get it all done and cleaned up.
